The latest FIFA rankings have been released. Spain remains on top, the UK dropped one place, Italy was thrown from the top ten, and Uruguay occupies third place, the best performance in their history.
A total of 24 games to be taken into consideration by the FIFA World Ranking determines the April issue.
Spain, the defending champion World Cup and European Cup, is still the best with 1442 points. Meanwhile, the Netherlands, who defeated La Furia Roja in the final in 2010, down two strip to fourth.
Winner of three in South Africa, Germany, climbed one rung to second position and be the closest competitor Iker Casillas and his colleagues in the struggle for a respectable position.
England slipped from sixth to seventh. Nevertheless, the Three Lions is a fifth of Europe's best under Spain, Germany, Netherlands and Portugal.
Italian bitter truth must be accepted. Azzurri strip and knocked down three of the top ten to number 12.
